Internal rules of coexistence

For a better understanding of the operation of Youth Hostel Mendoza, we expect from its guests correct behavior, compliance with the rules, as well as appropriate decorum throughout the complex, so that your stay is pleasant, we ask you to take into account the following:

  1. The request and completion of the reservation implies the acceptance of these general conditions. Check-in is from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. We appreciate that you inform us of your arrival time. The maximum time for (check out) will be 11:00 a.m. Youth Hostel Mendoza will charge an extra night without the right to stay for departures made after 1:00 p.m.
  2. Youth Hostel Mendoza complies with the regulations issued by the official body – Ministry of Tourism of the Province of Mendoza and has the corresponding insurance.
  3. The accommodation will be carried out on a free distribution basis by the Management of the establishment. The possibility of a specific use and enjoyment (individual, shared or complete) can be consulted at the time of booking.
  4. The current rate is from 15 US dollars, with breakfast and VAT included.
  5. When requesting the reservation, it will be confirmed when the corresponding payment of 50% of the stay is formalized, and upon entering the passenger will pay the entire stay. Checks are not accepted. Payment can only be made by credit or debit card, cash or transfer at the time of arrival.
  6. To check in, a photo ID or passport must be presented, which will be scanned by the Reception Office. Foreign citizens must only present their passport. It must be reported if the entrant has Traveler’s Insurance and/or International Assistance. The entrant will enter their personal data in an official form, and at the same time must know and understand the “Rules of Coexistence”, signing their consent and will receive their personal identification.
  7. Youth Hostel Mendoza has a video surveillance system that records 24 hours a day, and is not responsible for the actions of clients with third parties.
  8. The management of Youth Hostel Mendoza is not responsible for any type of loss of private property. It is advisable to keep and control all valuable personal items such as mobile phones, laptops, watches, players, etc. Any damage, deterioration or theft that occurs voluntarily or through misuse in the facilities must be compensated by the corresponding responsible party(ies) after assessment by the management of the establishment.
  9. Cancellation fees: Covers the expenses and damages incurred due to non-occupation of reserved places and cancellations prior to the scheduled arrival date.
  10. These expenses will be incurred if cancelled within 2 days prior to arrival, being 100% of the first night’s stay, with no additional charge if the stay is for more nights.

Safety Rules

Due to strict safety regulations, Youth Hostel Mendoza closes its entrance and exit doors for non-guests from 10pm to 8am.

The entry and exit times are unrestricted, meaning that they can be carried out at any time by guests. In the case of groups, these types of rules will be established and shared with the person in charge of the group and posted at the establishment’s reception. In order to avoid risky situations for yourself or for other residents, caution is requested when entering or leaving at night.

Visits are only allowed in the common areas, always informing the establishment’s reception in advance.

The living room and kitchen-dining room are open until 11pm.

To avoid possible inconvenience to other guests, the showers may be used until 11pm and clothing may not be left in the same facilities.
